Extensions for Revit

Content Generator

Using the Content Generator extension, you can generate:

• section families, reinforcing bars and their shapes for beams and columns
• materials

using constructional databases.

You can generate families for the following types of beam or column sections:

• standard sections
• parametric sections
• tapered sections.

Families for standard sections are generated based on geometrical and mechanical data saved in constructional databases.

Families for parametric and tapered sections are generated based on user-defined data.

Families are saved to a file from which the Extension was launched; they are not saved automatically in a file on the disk drive (you can save them in Autodesk Revit Structure after selecting a specific family in Project Browser).
