Extensions for Revit

Load Takedown 

Using the Load Takedown extension, you can perform a simulation of load takedown for vertical forces and stresses caused by these forces in vertical elements of a structure defined in Revit ® Structure.

You can load necessary information from Revit® Structure:

• geometry
• material parameters
• supports
• loads
• load cases
• load combinations.

All results are presented in appropriate tables and on diagrams.

• Visualization of vertical forces includes:
  • for columns: vertical force Fx
  • for walls: a sum of vertical forces on the top edge of an element.
• Stresses are calculated using the following formula: vertical force / cross-sectional area.
